Acharya Swami Shivayogananda, is looking after the activities of the Madurai Branch. A library 'Chinmaya Saraswathi' has been opened,,with a collection of books under different titles. Value Camp for the Children of TVS Matric.School, Madurai...
Value camp for the students of IV std, TVS Matric. Hr. School, Madurai., organised by the members of Devi group and Chyks..on Feb 16, Saturday at Chinmaya Mission Madurai. 380 students from eight sections of the school participated and enjoyed the various like sessions - bhajans, games., value classes and stories with more interesting ..The participation and feed back of the students & the teachers were very overwhelming and encouraging...The Session started with the Prayer and ends with Chinmaya Aarthi.

" MA DHAVAM - One day Camp for Ladies...
One Day Camp for the ladies, by name "MA DHAVAM" was organised by the members of Devi Group, Chinmaya Mission, Madurai.,on Feb. 10 Sunday ..80 ladies from different parts of the city participated, in the camp.
Acharya Sw. Sivayogananda, in his benediction address and also in his first session, elaborately presented the greatness of Women in this Bharath from the Vedic times . Also lavishly quoted the ancient scriptures, to strengthen his views, that ladies are being treated equally, and sometimes more than their counterparts, in the family and ascetic life. He welcomed the participants to take active part in all the activities of Chinmaya Mission, whenever and whatever way possible ....
The lively activities and the vibrant sessions were handled by the Devi group members, assisted by the Yuvaveer, Chyks and Mission members. The feed back by the campers was encouraging, to continue the service, to the society .
