Chinmaya Mission Madurai, is the branch of Chinmaya Mission Worldwide.In the presiding deity 'Guru Sri Dakshinamoorthy' Sannadhi, poojas, Bhajans and Aarthy are being held,daily. Acharya Swami Shivayogananda, is looking after the activities of the Madurai Branch. A library 'Chinmaya Saraswathi' has been opened,,with a collection of books under different titles. Deepavali Celebrations at Sevashram, Madurai...

On the eve of Deepavali Celebrations, Chinmaya Seva Trust, in association with the 'Rotary Club of Madurai North West' and 'Tirukkovil Bhakthargal Peravai' organised an event, to the inmates of Sevashram orphanage at Madurai. Deepavali New dresses and sumptuous dinner were provided to 160 children, staying at this Home. Further the children also enjoyed the crackers supplied to them, after the dinner.

Mr. Thilagar, Genl. Secy and Mr. Gopalsamy, secretary of Chinmaya Mission, Madurai, participated and distributed the dresses to the inmates, as guided by Acharya Sw. Sivayogananda. Yogi Raja and Prof. Raja Govindasamy delivered spl. lecturers to the audience, on 'Memory improving'..

Large number of Rotary Club and Tirukoil Bakthargal Peravai members, also joined that evening.

Akshara Abhyasam !

On the eve of Vijayadasami day 'Akshara Abhyasam' was organised at Chinmaya Meenakshi, - Guru Dakshinamoorthy Sannadhi., on October 3 [Friday].. .Fifteen children with their parents participated in the event. Acharya Swami Sivayogananda blessed the children by writing the Manthras / slokas in their slates...Earlier spl. poojas were also performed.. Sweets to the children and Prasadam to the devotees, distributed..
