Sri Krishna Jeyanthi Celebrations....

Janmastami was celebrated for 2 days (16.8.14 & 17.8.14) in a grand manner at Chinmaya Mission, Madurai. 

On the first day more than 80 Balvihar students from various Balvihar groups, performed cultural programme on Krishna Leela,  Kalinga Nartana, Narakasura vada,, Rukmini kalyana, etc., More than 200 parents and devotees, enjoyed the children's activities. Gifts and dinner were provided to the children, their parents and all the visitors.

The next day,on Janmastami Day, in the presence of Brni. Gomathi, portions of Bhagavad Gita was chanted, which was followed by Puja for Sri Krishna, Bhajans, Aarathi and distribution of Prasad. Chinmaya Mission members, Chyks, and Devi group members in large numbers, attended the function.

One more ..One Day Youth Camp by CHYKS, Madurai...

One day youth camp Inner Quest-2 was conducted on Sunday, 10th August,2014. The camp was organized for those colleges which enrolled  after the last date of the earlier camp for IQ-1 . IQ-2 was organised by Chinmaya Yuva Kendra, Madurai., under the guidance of Brni. Gomathi.

30 students from various colleges participated in this camp. The sessions Goal Setting, Find your passion and TI2TI were taken by Mr.Nagalingam,Head coach,Nikhil Foundations, Brni.Gomathi and Smt Aarathy, MBA., respectively.On the final session students played treasure hunt.

Camp kit,lunch and refreshment were provided for the participants. Chinmaya Udghosh magazine, presented to the campers.. The  feedback from the participants was good and 12 of them expressed their willingness to join the CHYK Group...
