Chinmaya Balavihar Summer Camp "LEAD 2014"

 

Chinmaya Balavihar Summer Camp "LEAD - 2014" was organised by the Devi group and Chyks members of Madurai Chinmaya Mission from April 20 to 27, 2014 [ 8 days]..160 students in the age group of 7 to 13 years,  from various areas of the city participated in the camp.The camp was inagurated by Mr.and Mrs. Kannan, Mg. Director of Madurai Radha Travels. He expressed his admiration towards the activities of the various wings of the Mission, in his inaugural address.

The camp starts daily at 9.30 a.m and ends by 3.30 p.m. and the children taught of Pooja, Vedic Chanting, Value Mining, Bhajans, Culturals, Craft, Games and Yoga, by the faculty members..The Children also taken to Sivananda Tapovanam, Thoppur as a field trip and Swami Sivananda Sundarandaji of Divine Life Society, blessed the participants.

On the Valedictory day 'Mathroo Pooja' by the campers was organised.. Mr.and Mrs. Sundaravel , Mg. Director, Indian Foods, participated and enjoyed the cultural activities of the students. The feed back from the parents and children were very encouraging...Refreshments and Food was arranged to all the parents and their children on the concluding day.

With the blessings of Acharya Swami Sivayoganandaji and by the co-operation and guidance of Brhi.  Gomathi, the camp was well organised by the members of  Chinmaya Mission.,  Devi Group and Chyks...

11th year Varushabishegam and Sri Ramanavami celebrations...

11th year Sri Guru Dakshinamoorthy Varushabishegam was celebrated in a grand manner on 4th April, 2014 at Chinmaya Meenakshi, Madurai., in the presence of Acharya Swami Sivayogananda.   Sri Vigneshwara pooja, laghunyasa Rudra Japa, Sri Dakshinamoorthy Moola Mandra Homa, Ganapathy Homa and Vasudhara Homa , were performed and followed by Spl. abishegam and deeparathana to Moolavar Sri Dakshinamoorthy.  Prasadams distributed to all the devotees and participants.  In the evening Sri Dakshinamoorthy Sakasranama Archana and Aarthi was performed.

On the eve of 'Sri Rama Navami'  special Archana, Bhajans and  'Kuthu vilakku pooja' were performed, on 8th April, by the Devi group members. The event was organised by Chinmaya Mission in co-ordination with the Asthiga Sabha of Doak Nagar, Madurai. Acharya Swami Sivayogananda blessed all the participants with special prasad.

To motivate the children, Chinmaya Devi group and Yuva Kendra has organized a Chinmaya Balavihar Summer Camp 2014 titled “LEAD” (Learn Eagerly Act Dynamically). This eight day programme for School students of III std. to VIII standard, is scheduled from 20.4.2014 - 27.4.2014 at Chinmaya Meenakshi, Doak Nagar, Kochadai, Madurai. We expect nearly 200 students from various Schools, will be participating in this summer camp.

In order to conduct this Programme successfully, we make an earnest appeal to your good self for Sponsorship... The payments may be made by way of a Cheque or Demand draft, in favour of  ‘Chinmaya Seva Trust’ payable at Madurai.
