On the eve of Sankara Jeyanthi,  Brni. Vedavati Chaithanya delivered spiritual lecture on Adi Sankara's " Subramanya Bhujangam" from April 20th to 23rd at Chinmaya Meenakshi, Madurai. On 23rd evening "Ashtothra Pooja' and Aarthi to Bhagavan Adi Sankara was held in the presence of Acharya Sw. Sivayogananda.

Chinmaya Centenary Ratha Yathra - An Appeal !

This year is the 100th year of Swami Chinmayanandaji's birth. So, we are organising a Ratha Yatra having Gurudev's life and teaching as mobile exhibition all over India. 

This yatra will be inaugurated on Gurudev's birth day, May 8th in Cochin this year. It will travel for 238 days for 12000 Kms. and reach Pune on 31st December. 

This mobile vehicle will be reaching Tamil Nadu during the last week of May for One full month. During that time the vehicle will visit various colleges,school,corporate,and other Hindu organisations on its way. 

We will be distributing a booklet as prasad for all the visitors who come to see the vehicle . The booklet will contain details about swami Chinmayananda and Chinmaya mission. 

We may need one lac copies of these books in Tamil. Your contribution for this great cause will be highly appreciative .

"Sri Guru Dakshinamoorthy Kumbabhisekam"

                                                        

 



 

 

Chinmaya Meenakshi - "Sri Guru Dakshinamoorthy Swami 12th year Samvathsara Mahothsavam [ Kumbabhisekam ] and Punaravarthana Laghu  Prathista Ahvana" was celebrated in a grand manner at Madurai, on 26th and 27th March, in a grand manner.

The celebrations started on the evening of March 26 with Vigneswara Pooja, Navagraha Pooja, Moola Mandira Japam, etc. and ended with Aarthi and distribution of Prasadams.

On the second day - March 27th - started with Gomatha Pooja, Ganapathy Homam, Maha abishegam and ends with Archana and Prasadams. Evening Sri Dakshinammorthy Sahasranama Rudra Trisadhi Archana was held, followed by Thevara Music and Bhajans by  Smt. Pitchammal Subramanian and Devi Group members. on the evening . 

On the eve of Kumbabhisekam a special  issue of  ' Chinmaya Meenakshi' quarterly magazine of Madurai Center was released. Under the guidance  of Acharya Swami Sivayogananda, these two days mega events, were organised in a well disciplined manner with spiritual fervour.

Large number of Public from different areas of Madurai, Well wishers and Members of Chinmaya family, were jubilantly participated.   Annadanam was arranged In these two days to all the devotees and public.

 Brni. Vedavati Chaithanya, Br. Jitesh Chaithanya, Nellai and Br. Parmesh Chaithanya, Trichy, also participated ..Dinamalar Tamil Daily,Madurai - edition has  given wide coverage for these two days events.
