Tamil Isai Sangam, Madurai organised
a four day talk from Jan 8th to 11th, 2017 by Swami
Sivayogananda, Acharya, Chinmaya Mission, Madurai. The deep rooted talk was
based on thoughts of Thirumoolar’s Thirumandiram for Practical Application in
our daily lives.
The essence of the 3000 songs of
ThiruMandiram was portrayed efficiently and the importance of how charity, love
and righteous value education in our daily lives would lead a seeker into the
spiritual path was also explained in detail. The audience that thronged the
Tamil Isai Sangam were spellbound by Swamiji’s parallel quotations from various
texts like Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, and the vedantic concepts from Thirukural,
and songs of Bharathiar and Pattinathar were also dealt with.
More than 800 members in and around
Madurai, attended the discourse regularly and were inspired. This programme was
widely covered and supported by many News dailies.
